Gameshark ps1 bin and cuenta. Love 020 pemain badminton. EXCLUSIVE: Foos Fight! The former drummer of the Foo Fighters has branded the group's front man Dave Grohl a 'playground bully', saying he would have ended up dead if he had not quit the rock band.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com William Goldsmith revealed he became a verbal 'punch bag' for the superstar, and felt creatively 'raped' by the time he spent in one of America's most successful groups. The Foo Fighters are currently riding the crest of a global popularity wave thanks to their epic set at this year's in the UK.
Charismatic frontman Grohl won over the crowd with his performance alongside band mates – Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear. Scroll down for video. Goldsmith (second left) said David Grohl (left) verbally bullied him and was responsible for giving him minimal creative credit on the 1997 album The Colour and the Shape which featured bassist Nate Mendel (right) and guitarist Pat Smear (second right) But their former drummer, Goldsmith, 42, from Seattle, Washington, said he's not such a fan. 'The way things were handled, and what was done to me, I do think that staying in that band would have made me feel like my soul was destroyed and I would have likely ended up dead,' he explained. Goldsmith revealed he was pushed into heavy drinking and drugs in a bid to cope with the pressure he was under.
And confirming he wished he had never met Grohl, he said: 'That feeling might change if we actually sat down and talked. But that hasn't happened yet.' Goldsmith, who now plays with band Sunny Day Real Estate, joined the Foo Fighters in 1994. He was approached by Grohl while at a gig and was handed a piece of paper saying the singer and drummer wanted to meet him. Goldsmith recalled: 'I was contacted by Dave and he said he wanted to get the Foos going.
'When we went into it initially, he said it was to have fun and no crazy pressure. 'He didn't want to spend a load of time on the road. But that is not how it worked out. 'I did first off say, 'no, I don't think I am the right guy for the job.' 'But he came back and said that was why he wanted me to do it.' Foo Fighters started out as a one man project – Grohl wrote all the songs, and performed all the instruments.
But it soon became apparent if he wanted to make it work he would need other people to assist. As well as approaching Goldsmith, Grohl also got his Sunny Day Real Estate band mate, bassist Nate Mendel, on board, who is still with the Foo Fighters. He played at their momentous gig at the Glastonbury Music Festival two weeks ago. Goldsmith said he worked for 13 hours a day for three weeks on The Colour and the Shape, but it was almost for nothing.

Grohl re-recorded much of the album and Goldsmith was only credited on 'Doll' and 'Up In Arms' Goldsmith said everyone told him to join the band and they congratulated him on finally making it. However as soon as he got in the studio to work on the 1997 album, The Colour and the Shape, he realized something was not right.
