Install Vuze On Synology Router

Afternoon all, I'm venturing into the world of NAS boxes for 2 reasons. Partly for better backup/storage, but also for torrents for TV programmes which I download (legally). Currently I download these to my mac, via Vuze, and then transfer to a WDTV to watch on the TV. (Spot the technically challenged!). I travel a lot with work, so ideally want a NAS box I can download directly to, and then access from anywhere as long as I am on the net.

I also would like to stream to wifi devices in the house too. I've read a few comments on WP that Synology appears to be the way forward, and wondered if anyone had any specific models in mind? We don't really store programmes once watched so storage is only for a few movies, photo's etc. Any advice greatly appreciated. All my files are on it, download torrents straight onto it, then use a laptop and tablet around the house to stream those and access other files. The NAS connects wirelessly to the modem-router. I haven't had any issues with file transfer speeds to or from the NAS or web. Am using utorrent but will probably give download station a try when i have some time to set it up. I have 5 bays DS1511+ with 5 disk. I will run torrent actively, and try to keep the disks life span as long as possible. My goal: run torrent to download to a (small) disk, then move once completed to other disk with protection and stream from there. Ks1 maths games online. Just want someone to review my current setting and offer other alternative if there is any? I created 2 groups: group A with SHR (disk 1-4), and group B with disk 5 is just for downloading (without protection), then i move the completed files to group A once a week.

I dont want to share disk or raid system between main disks and download disk. I just read from internet i can also have 1 disk group with multiple volumes, with different type of protections (is this correct??) so, what are the advantage and disadvantage of option 1: creating 2 disk group and two volumes (like what i have now), compare with option 2: create just ONE disk group with 2 volumes (volume one SHR (disk 1-4), volume two (only disk 5) without protection)? Any other options? I think option 1 is more flexible ie now i use 500gb disk i can just change to 1tb disk without disturbing group disk A, is this correct? Any disadvantages?
