I'm Roberta.I'm a surveyor working at Mes Aynak Archaeological Project in Afghanistan.i started this new job last week.and found myself not being able to download survey data.prevoius surveyor who bought two Nikon DTM 322 didn't leave any software to download the data (or deleted it before going away.how nice!!). I am really not familiar with this machines.I always been using Leica as it's the most popular in Europe for archaeological work.
I managed to get the drivers for the Prolific usb serial port. Reading prevoius forums I understand there is a software called Transit to download the data, is this correct?Does anybody out there knows where can i get it?(as it seems to be very hard to find in the net). Or does anybody knows if i can alternatively use another software?? I hope somebody can help as this is becoming very frustrating.
