Cheesy pianos aside, I like the M1 and wavestation.
The wavestation's interface isn't very conventional but it excels at evolving pads and sequenced loops. I'm glad I got them as they add new sounds that aren't my usual va and analog. The M1 is super basic and simple, but it's fun to dial in some kind of rompler patch like a choir, then add effects or resample it. To me the M1 is worth it to have all the old school pcm style waves.
