Driver Usb Device Vid_1f3a_pid_efe8 Xpress Bill

I spent yesterday banging my head getting drivers to work on win7. First had to use 32bit, x64 no go. The hardest part is getting the tablet into recovery mode, if u dont the device wont load the right state to load driver. Load livesuit, choose image, plugin usb cable to pc, hold menu button, plugin usb to elf, slowly press power button til pc makes sound for new device inserted, if it cant find driver go to device manager and point the device with yellow exclamation to the livesuit driver folder.

After that livesuit takes over and prompts to write rom. If ur stuck at 0%, driver is not loaded and/or u are not in recovery mode.
Hope this helps. Thanks Lushay, I have now flashed my new Elf 7 with the 4.0.3 rom from the 'clean boot' post above and it's running OK. I just need to get some apps downloaded and I can start to enjoy using it. OS was Windows7 Ultimate on a Dell latitude D830.
I used USBdeview and cleaned out some of the storage device drivers and everything I could find relating to 'Novo 7' or 'Android' and then ran 'livesuite', following the instructions about holding down 'menu' and plugging in USB, and when the driver install pop up opened I pointed it to the driver supplied in the Livesuite install folder, and it has worked this time. One problem I had when I was struggling to get it to work was which key I should hold down and how fast I needed to repeat the ON button presses.
Turns out it is the Menu key that must be held as the Elf doesn't have 'Volume + and -' the 'Menu' key is the left side of the center rocker switch, and 6 presses of the 'Power' button in less than 3 seconds would be about right. Thanks again Lushay.
Your post was a great help. Hi I'm new here.
I've just bought a Aurora and try to flash it with ICS 4.0.3 because it hangs. I encountered somewhat similar problem. When I followed the steps given to run livesuit.exe and selected the image file, I held the tablet 'back' button and connect the USB to my PC, immediately a dialog box with yellow exclamation comes out. Did I miss anything?
Regards Terence Hi, I have the same problem with the dialog box with yellow exclamation, and being stuck at 0% I would add that, when I press the button, and then plug the usb, it immediatly makes a sound (as when USB is plugged), and I don't need to press 5-6 times the power button. And then it displays the empy box.
